Travelling Bar & Catering Staff
- Provide exceptional service across multiple venues and locations in UK
- Use your charisma and charm to provide a positive and friendly interaction with all customers, clients and their guests.
- Types of shifts: 1. Turn up and work: This requires no set-up or breakdown, and instead requires you to focus entirely on service.
- 2. Set-up and breakdown: After meeting a team leader or manager on site, you will help to prepare the bar or catering unit for opening or packing away.
- 3. Full shift: Helping with an event from start to finish, including packing the van and travelling with the team leader or manager to the Budget Bar Co lockup.
Contract: 0 hours, summer staff
Hours: Minimum of 3 hours per event, maximum of 12 hours per event unless agreed in advance
Salary Scale: £10.50 starting rate
Required Dates
26th - 28th May
Plus at least 2 more of the following:
9th - 11th June, 5th August, 19th August, 25th - 27th August
Your Profile and responsibilities
- Serve guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Engage with guests in a fun but respectful way
- Be prepared to use a variety of different terminals to take payments
- Keep the workspace clean and tidy at all times
- Willing to travel to various locations
- Keep taste, serving sizes and aesthetics consistent
- Set up and pack down a bar or catering van efficiently
- Help keep positive team energy up
- Be able to take instructions well
- Be aware of who the Personal License Holder and client is for each event
- Be able to answer questions about Budget Bar Co, or know who to direct the questions to.
About you
Essential
- C1+ level of spoken English
- The right to work in UK
- Genuine interest in creating positive relationships within the industry
- Flexibility, and the willingness to undertake any jobs as laid out in the job description
- Enthusiastic and charismatic
- Be level-headed in a fast-paced environment

*Tattoos, piercings, coloured hair and facial hair are allowed, so long as they are not deemed as offensive by the team leader or client. Each venue and job may view this differently, but as a general rule, Budget Bar Co will accept all of the above (the company owners have all of the above between them!).
Desirable
- UK Drivers License and access to own car
- Previous bar and catering experience
- Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate
- First Aid trained
- Knowledge (through work or as a customer) of cocktails
