We have a vacancy for a professional and friendly support worker to work with a lady with an acquired brain injury, in her own home and the community.
Living in the Kendal area, she is a dog lover, with a much-loved rescue dog, and has a passion for crafting, baking and music. She really enjoys attending activities in the community and is committed to her church visits on Sunday.
This post will ideally suit someone with similar interests or someone who can positively engage in her interests. She also requires a person who will engage in daily household activities to promote her independence within her family unit.

Hi there, here is a little about me…
I like to get involved in local arts and craft classes. It is a really good way to stay in contact with my friends, we enjoy a good catch up.
I enjoy baking, using my Kenwood mixer, my favourite cake is tea bread and I like to share it amongst family and friends, the secret is to soak the fruit in apple juice overnight.
I enjoy singing at my weekly class and I even make up my own songs when walking around my home from time to time.
If you think you would enjoy being a part of my team, please apply.
