K9 Security (Guarding) Ltd is currently looking to recruit.
Female SIA frontline licenced Security Officer in Poole Dorset
- As an occupational requirement, we are seeking female applicants due to the nature of the role which will require searching female members of the public on a Port Facility.
Full training will be provided for this job.
Full-time
12 hour shifts, rotation of 4 Nights on duty, then 4 off duty
£11.00 per hour plus overtime available

Applicants must hold a current Frontline SIA Security licence. Applicants with their own transport would be beneficial, due to early start times.
Job Details
Providing Maritime Security under International Ship and Port Facility Security (I.S.P.S.)
Conduct various searches of vehicles and people entering the Restricted Area under I.S.P.S. Code
Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence
Reporting any suspicious activity, packages, or any discrepancies with either ID or searches
Monitor and control access to Restricted Area via Access Control Points
Checking and controlling of HGV’s leaving and entering the Port
Key Skills / Experience
Proven work experience as a Security officer or equivalent position
Experience of delivering excellent Customer Service
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Some computer experience preferable, ability to write clear daily written reports
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Experience of working as part of a team or independently
Have an understanding of the Health and Safety at Work act
