About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Fellowships Community Manager to work with over 600 Fellows from across the private, public and social sectors, who are all committed to working with purpose and using their power to work for the common good. You will project manage and coordinate activities for Fellows in our network beyond the 18-month Programme.

Leaders on the Fellowship Programme explore the nature of responsible leadership and practical approaches for tackling complex organisational change. The Fellowship team support these leaders to continue to have the vision, courage, influence and network to drive significant change in pursuit of societal good. This position will support drive to build a movement for responsible leadership,

There are 2 areas of focus aimed at supporting a vibrant community of Fellows to make change:

Deliver our post-Fellowship programme offering

  • Plan and manage an end-to-end series of events (i.e. weekly Discovery Sessions and Annual Fellowship Forum) to enable Fellows to explore responsible leadership issues shaping their environment. This includes influencing the choice of topics, finding and briefing speakers and communicating the outcomes.
  • Manage logistics, including venues, catering, materials, budgets etc. for events.
  • Identify opportunities to make connections across the Fellowship community network to spur collaboration and learning
  • Build networks for Fellows interested in working and collaborating together on key topics (e.g. climate change, inequality, mental health and wellbeing, technology etc)
  • Communicate with Fellows on a regular basis to influence the dialogue.
  • Produce data, analytics, research and materials to support the Fellows to maintain strong connections

Support Fellows to more effectively lead change

  • Work with the Fellowship Director to support change projects that Fellows undertake across and within their organisations.
  • Keep track of Fellows’ progress with projects, providing input and making connections with other Fellows and individuals where relevant.
  • Work with Fellows to support the delivery of FI workshops in their organisations.
  • Convene groups of Fellows and stakeholders in partner organisations, helping them to build a shared agenda for change and disseminate thinking and practice.
  • Identify, record, and amplify stories of Fellow collaboration and change after the programme
  • Assist with other tasks as required.

About us

At the Forward Institute we’re all about responsible leadership – helping senior leaders in influential organisations to become a force for good. Our Fellowship programme is unique in that our Fellows remain involved with the Forward Institute long after their core Fellowship programme ends, allowing them to help drive the movement for Responsible Leadership. This role is responsible for maintaining that engagement and supporting senior leaders to connect and collaborate to make change through a programme of activities including an annual forum, weekly speaker sessions and change initiatives.

CORE DETAILS

Salary: £40- 50k, based on seniority and experience

Type: It is envisaged this will be a full-time role.

Start date: Ideally 14th May 2023, but this can be flexed for the right person.

LOCATION

We’re based by Chancery Lane, within easy walking distance of a number of over and underground stations. We expect the team to split their work between the office, our partner organisations and home.
