Job description
A great new opportunity has become available for a commercial Ladies wear Woven/Jersey Designer to work across multi product for a range of high street/ online retailers. The company is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and commercial fashion designer with a middle age customer in mind. The ideal candidate must have a flare for fashion and understand key woven/jersey fabrics and shapes.
The ideal candidate must,
- Be fluent in using photoshop and illustrator packages.
- Have a minimum of one year industry experience.
- Be able to design printed patterns.
- Create seasonal boards and trend reports with in trend color pallettes.
- Research and source new fabrics and design ideas.
- Attend fabric fairs both in UK/Europe and the Far east.
- Arrange regular design meetings with buyers and assist account managers.
- Create range plans following prints and design direction from buying team.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
