Job description

We are thrilled and excited to advertise for the position of fashion designer/ garment tech, for our in house brand MUDFLOWER.

The ideal candidate must be able to,

• Trend research/ shopping trips/ web research.
• Be able to design and put together a co-ordinated range, which consists of knitwear/jersey/woven/outwear/bottoms etc.
• To create size specification sheets and organise fit sessions to approve fits for production.
• To send purchase orders to suppliers and keep an accurate record of the styles on order.
• Use software packages such as photoshop and illustrator efficeintly.
• Liase with far east suppliers on design and fit related queries.
• Oversee the production process to ensure quality and accuracy
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and attend fashion shows and events

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer/Garment tech
- Strong artistic and creative abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary: £24,931.00-£30,000.00 per year
