About us
Armée is a British clothing brand based in Manchester, United Kingdom. A Luxury and Sustainable clothing company, selling staple made to order collections, as well as specializing in limited run collections made from deadstock fabric.
We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team in our Manchester city centre. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and repairing garments and textiles.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, alter, and repair garments and textiles
- Measure and mark fabrics for alterations
- Operate sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment
- Follow patterns and instructions to create new garments or make alterations to existing ones
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties
- Proficiency in using sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and markings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
