Fashion Content Creator & Social Storyteller

Hybrid freelance role, that can be full or part time
Location: Fulham, London SW6

As part of our marketing team, you will create compelling content showcasing our company story and client products to our global audience.

We are seeking a Video Content Creator with a passion for swimwear, activewear and lingerie to work for London Contour Experts Group and build out our video presence both in house and for clients.
About London Contour Experts
We are a luxury design house and product development consultancy based in London, with specialist expertise in creating high-quality bodywear for our diverse client base, from established retailers to entrepreneurial start-ups.
With a specialism in Contour Fashion, we apply our exceptional level of technical experience to swimwear, activewear, lingerie and lounge categories. Our team of experts assist clients during every step of their business journey.
The Role
The position is for a passionate content creator with the drive to grow our social media platforms by sharing our story through video and photos.
Experience in video creation and photography is a must for this role, and being able to work alongside our creative team, capture captivating content and edit videos is a must.
You will work closely with the marketing manager, graphic design team and copywriter to create a range of content to be used in the months ahead. Planning with the team is key.
Topics you will be covering include (but not limited to):
- Trends
- BTS, both product design and marketing
- Trending videos but brand versions
- Showcasing our services
- Client photoshoots
- Highlighting our clients / portfolio
- Client Events
- Network Events
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and create content targeting our audience that are inline with our tone of voice, persona and to help grow the account.
- Being proactive in researching, planning, capturing content, editing to create engaging content.
- Follow brand guidelines, but also provide your passion for storytelling.
- Coming into our London office in the week to capture videos, behind the scenes, and client products etc. You will need to form an open relationship with our team to engage and confidently guide where necessary.
- Video filming and editing – short snappy, compelling stories for social media on your phone.
- Experience with video editing programmes / apps. Being able to add graphics and overlays to videos. Adobe software provided.
- Editing photos and graphics via Adobe Photoshop
- Passionate and experienced with cameras and photography.
- Staying on top of trends and advising the team.
Your competences:
- The ideal candidate will be extremely tech-savvy and have a thorough knowledge of relevant Adobe Software
- Bonus if you have graphic design knowledge or degree
- Previous industry experience is beneficial, but not essential
- Ability to take initiative on several digital design projects, take and edit photographs, create and edit video content, suggest design edits and assist in the creation of artworks
- A keen eye for high-end visuals - experience with luxury fashion projects preferred but not required
- Ability to suggest designs for social media updates
- Attention to detail
- Fantastic research skills and a keen eye for new, innovative marketing campaign ideas
- Ability to work in a hybrid system
- Understanding of and passion for the fashion sector is a preferred
- Ability to manage your time and deliver the tasks on time
- Ability to present research and design concepts effectively
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is crucial
