The role
We are seeking a friendly, food-loving Farm Shop Assistant to join the team in providing outstanding service to our loyal customer base. Previous experience in a similar customer facing environment is ideal, but not essential as we’ll teach you all you need to know. However, a genuine interest in locally-sourced food and food trends is what will set you apart from other applicants.
This role will suit someone who is naturally helpful, attentive and able to adapt to the changeable demands of the business. A flexible approach to teamwork, excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn are what we’re looking for.
Key responsibilities
- Providing the highest level of customer experience
- Assisting customers in finding the products they are looking for
- Processing card and cash payments through an integrated till system
- Stocking shelves and creating eye catching displays
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene
- Constantly striving to develop your understanding of not only the products, but also the numerous services and activities available at Priory Farm Estate
- Adhering to company policies and H&S standards at all times
- Representing the company in the most professional manner

Hours of work
Saturdays 09:00 – 17:30 (with a 30-minute unpaid break for lunch)
Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
