Job description
We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, enthusiastic team player, to join our amazing team at Sapling Eggs.
Working as the Farm Assistant, you will be part of our team responsible for the day-to-day running of the Sapling Eggs business. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring the highest level of welfare for our hens
- Collecting, sorting and packing of eggs by hand and machine. Including collecting eggs by hand that have not been laid in nest boxes
- Maintaining the quality control of packed eggs
- Ensuring cleanliness of all areas and stringent compliance with the health and hygiene regulations
The successful candidate will ideally have some farm working experience but this is not essential. What is essential is that you are an exceptional team player, fantastic at time management and organisation, an excellent and confident communicator and have a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, or would like some more information, we’d love to hear from you.
This role is based at our farm in Lower Peover, therefore the successful candidate must have transport due to the rural location.
