Are you passionate about working for and contributing to an organisation that makes a difference by supporting families with premature babies in your community?

If so, this might be the role for you. It’s more than just a job.

TinyLife is NI’s premature baby charity. We understand that having a baby in the neonatal unit is a stressful and anxious time, so our specialist services provide both practical and emotional support to families. Parents have called this a “lifeline” in times of need and uncertainty.

At TinyLife, our values guide what we do – for information on our values please see https://www.tinylife.org.uk/app/uploads/2022/06/TinyLife-What-we-value.pdf

The Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and implementing the Growing Child Programme with fidelity including actively engaging with parents referred to the programme and explaining the various developmental concepts of preterm infants so parents can undertake their caring responsibilities at home with confidence
  • Conducting regular reviews of the nature and level of family support provided and to record feedback on parent and child developmental outcomes and seek opportunities to improve and develop the service
  • Delivering the Growing Child programme materials with a high level of competency within the home setting to enable parent(s) to implement the programme accordingly
  • Effectively demonstrating the use of supporting programme resources in order to explain various developmental concepts to parents with preterm infants
  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant statutory, voluntary and community agencies and professionals; including delivering presentations and attending networking and fundraising events.
  • Delivering other TinyLife programmes and services as required
  • Undertaking relevant monitoring and support reporting; keeping accurate reports and records, as required

Our benefits

When you work for TinyLife, we want you to know you are valued.

You will have:

  • 25 days annual leave plus 12 statutory days (pro-rata)
  • Access to a Pension – up to and including 6% contribution by TinyLife
  • Contributory access to Organisation’s health scheme (after successfully completing 9 months’ probation)
  • Consideration will be given to hybrid working in line with business needs
