We are working with a leading regional law firm based in Kidderminster, seeking an experienced Family Associate Solicitor to join their growing family law department. Our client is a full-service law firm providing legal services to clients across the West Midlands and Worcestershire, with a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering the highest quality legal advice and support to their clients.
This is a truly modern outfit - the firm has won the award for 'Best Use of Technology' at the Law Society's Excellence Awards, for their innovative use of technology in improving client experience and streamlining internal processes.
This firm also boasts one of the largest private family law departments in Worcestershire and the wider midlands area with over 16 qualified individuals ranging from Solicitor to Director, a Senior Associate or Associate would fit perfectly into the structure.
This role reports directly into the Director and Head of Private Family team in Kidderminster, so this is also an ideal opportunity for those looking for senior progression opportunities.
About You
The majority of our client’s family team are members of Resolution. Members follow a code of practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. Members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family and in particular the best interest of the children.
Two of their family team (including the Director this role reports into) are also accredited Resolution specialists.
As an Associate Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for
- family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and private children disputes.
- Additional work may include cohabitation, injunctions, pre- and post-nuptials, and domestic abuse.
- You will provide legal advice and support to a range of clients, from high-net-worth individuals to business owners and entrepreneurs and will work closely with other members of the team to ensure the delivery of outstanding client service.
- You will also be expected to participate in business development activities, including attending networking events and developing new business opportunities.
