
Family and Systemic Psychotherapist Haringey
Job description
We are looking to recruit a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist (Band 7) who is passionate about improving the health and well-being outcomes for vulnerable children and their families. We welcome applications from trainees who are in their final year of training.
This is an exciting time to join Haringey CAMHS, as work progresses to transform the delivery of services for children and young people, drawing on the principles of Thrive approach.
The post holder will be located in Generic CAMHS, a multidisciplinary team offering evidence informed interventions to children up to age 18 and their families, identified as requiring targeted support to address mental health and emotional wellbeing need.
You will be supported, through regular clinical supervision and management supervision and there is access to excellent continuing professional development opportunities, including the CAMHS Divisional Family Therapy forum that meet regularly to share systemic practice and innovation.
The post holder will join the Generic CAMHS MDT who offer a range of services to children and young people with complex mental health needs, and their parents/carers, families and significant others. You will hold a varied clinical caseload, offering specialist systemic psychotherapy and generic assessment and interventions as well as consultation to CAMHS colleagues and professionals in partner agencies. You will have the opportunity to join a weekly family therapy clinic and contribute to interventions, such as the NVR parenting group as well as supervision and training, in line with your experience and interests.
