University of Warwick
Full Time United Kingdom 33348 - 43155 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Full-time, permanent position.

Brand new, modern arts facilities. A buzzing and invigorating campus. New people to engage with every day. Inspiration everywhere. There’s never been a more exciting time to join the arts scene at the University of Warwick.

We’re looking to appoint a Faculty of Arts Student Recruitment Officer, sitting within our Marketing, Communications and Insight team. The arts at Warwick are ever evolving, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to their success by driving and influencing student recruitment.

You’ll have a passion for schools liaison and student recruitment, and interested in applying this within the Arts Faculty. This fast-paced role will see you shaping and delivering annual student recruitment activity plans, taking a front-facing position delivering arts-specific campus visits and online engagement initiatives for prospective students, and you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with subject leads at sixth forms across the UK. You’ll travel regularly within the UK, visiting schools and colleges, acting as a pivotal representative for the University, and there’s even the potential for international travel.

Working collaboratively as part of a faculty-focused team, you’ll build and strengthen relationships with students, academics, and alumni, encouraging them to contribute to recruitment activity. We’re looking for someone with excellent experience of working with young people in an education setting, plus a good understanding of the prospective student journey. Importantly, you’ll need to translate this into tangible activity to deliver student recruitment results.

Our University is at the forefront of academic innovation and development; we’re continually investing in new facilities for the arts, having just built a new Faculty of Arts Building and refurbished Warwick Arts Centre, both at the heart of our campus. Our Faculty of Arts Building is a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration and inspiration, indicative of our dedication to providing the best learning experience for our students. Warwick Arts Centre is a vibrant and significant cultural resource, whose reach and platform extends across the region. And that same outward reach and energy is exactly what we envision of this role. So, if you’re someone who has the dynamism to engage young people, drive student recruitment across the UK and beyond, and who will further elevate our Faculty of Arts, then we want to hear from you.

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.

Informal enquiries can be directed to Sarah Booth, UK Student Recruitment Manager: [email protected].

Interview Date: 22 June 2023.
