The University Library is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Faculty Librarian to lead support for the Bournemouth University Business School. The postholder will work in partnership with the Academic Skills Hub Manager, coordinating development of information literacy and academic skills for the Academic Skills Hub on behalf of the Faculty Library Teams.
As a qualified and experienced librarian, you will utilise your excellent people skills to engage, manage relationships and work collaboratively with the Faculty, professional services and Library & Learning Support colleagues. You will be adaptable, organised and proactive to ensure that you are working effectively and are able to prioritise your work and meet deadlines. Your knowledge of Higher Education (HE), with a focus on learning and innovation will enable you to develop excellent resources and support teaching and research within the Faculty. You will lead a small team of Academic Liaison Librarians in delivering effective information literacy teaching, as well as contributing to the Academic Skills Hub workshop programme and other service requirements.
This post presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced librarian to join the Academic Liaison Team within Library & Learning Support. This integrated team is responsible for the delivery of high quality engagement and support for staff and students.
