Trainee Craftsperson
For 125 years, Globe-Trotter has been manufacturing beautiful, handcrafted luggage with the original design and manufacturing methods changing very little since its Victorian beginnings.
At Globe-Trotter we take pride in our time-honoured processes and the exquisite craftsmanship passed down through generations.
We are always keen to hear from people who want to come and learn the craft of making our high-end luxury suitcases from start to finish. Our Craftsmen and Craftswomen gain skills not many will possess.
The Preparation Team, produce leather parts ready for Suitcase Assembly. A hands-on making process learning skills such as making handles, Inking, stitching, splitting leather.
The Assembly Line then put together our suitcases using original manufacturing methods and machinery that date back to the Victorian era.
