Communications Officer Shrewsbury, England
Job description
Severn Hospice is a special place to work and we’re looking for an equally special person to join our communications team.
As a Communications Officer you will be sourcing, writing and presenting engaging content across all formats, from social, web and media to leaflets, brochures and flyers. You will know which channels work best for any campaign, be proficient in operating all of them and be especially creative and knowledgeable when it comes to reaching and engaging people though social media.
You will be full of ideas about how we can maintain our connections with the community we serve so they know more about our work – and how much we value their support for us.
You’ll be used to managing your own workload and be able to cope with multiple projects and deadlines. You will be confident working on your own, happy to take the communications lead with internal clients, and be able to create and manage the campaign that delivers the outcomes they want.
This won’t be the first time you’ve used your communications skills professionally or had to apply creative thinking to meet the challenge of influencing an audience.
We’re offering a full-time, permanent contract in a happy team that is proud to care about what it does for the people of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness.
Office-based, at our Shrewsbury hospice. Details and application information are all on our website www.severnhospice.org.uk/join-us
The closing date for applications has been extended to Monday 12 June.
