We are looking for a Production Worker to join W.J Leech & Sons Ltd. The Role is General manufacturing in various departments across the Shop Floor from working on the Assembly line, Welding, using Automated Sewing and Welding Machines. The role is to maximise Production.
To be considered for this role, the applicant must be organised, thorough in their approach to managing processes and have a ‘can do’ attitude, willingness to learn and progress, and the ability to work well in a shop floor team will be essential. This role has the potential to develop into other areas of the business.
Job description
The successful applicant will possess the following skills:
· Operate production line equipment such Air power tools, Riveter guns and Hot Air Guns
· Carry out visual checks to ensure high quality standards.
· Assemble goods on a production line, carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery.
· Able to work as part of a team and independently.
· Able to work on own initiative when necessary.
· Able to work in a safe manner.
· Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work to standards.
· Good Manual dexterity
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £17,500.00-£23,170.00 per year
