Our client based in Chesterfield are now recruiting for Factory Operatives (with forklift licence or experience) to join their existing team, initially starting off in a temporary capacity with the prospects to go permanent for the right candidate.

The company supplies cut-to-size, chamfered, machined, profiled and water jet-cut material via a local, national and international service. They also produce non-standard sizes by cutting round bar utilising unique processing methods.
Job Details:
You will be dealing with goods inwards, picking, packing, dispatching goods to customers and maintaining the companies excellent deliver records and performance. Day to day you will be working along side the Bandsaw operator, stamping billets and packing the billets ready for dispatch. Also you will be using machinery to stamp billets and training will be given for the steel cutting machinery. There will be heavy lifting too (they do have lifting equipment to assist with heavier lifting). PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A LABOUR INTENSE POSITION AND YOU WILL BE WORKING DAYS AND AFTERS. MUST HOLD A FORKLIFT LICENCE
Hours of work:

06.00-14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 (rotating)
Your duties will involve:
- Picking, packing and loading products to be dispatched to customers.
- Maintenance of the computerised warehouse management systems
- Ensuring all space is maximised in the warehouse
- Ensuring all dispatch notes are complete and accurate before dispatch
- Heaving lifting
- operating machinery
- Teamwork
- General housekeeping duties.
Essential must have.
- Minimum of 12 months warehouse experience required.
- A current FLT licence or experience essential.
- Machine experience essential
- Able to work as a team
