Description

Working in a busy manufacturing environment, candidates will be undertaking a variety of roles around the business. We are looking for individuals who can, through training, grow and develop within the company.

This will be an interesting and varied position interacting with a number of team members across the factory & with a variety of roles to undertake such as;

• Component assembly & testing
• Packing & dispatching parts
• Moving components around the factory floor
• Steel & part processing
• Product finishing

Training can be given for all elements of the role for the right candidate with the following key attributes;

• Good practical skills
• Ability to work in a safe and organised manner
• A desire to learn

Skills/Qualifications
- Forklift licence desirable however training can be provided in this regard

Remuneration:
- Hourly rate
- 30 days holiday
- The company operates a NEST pension scheme on which the candidate will be automatically enrolled if eligible
- 40 hour working week, Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3.45pm with potential for additional hours

The Company

Chapman Machinery Ltd design and manufacture machinery, focusing on the ATV attachments sector. Producing over 1300 units per annum with all manufacturing done on site, from sheet steel through to finished product leaving the factory. We distribute out products throughout the world, with over 60% of our production going for export.
