Job Title: Factory Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000k

Location: Bedwas , South Wales

Type: Permanent

My client based near Bedwas is currently has an exciting opportunity for a Factory Manager to join their Team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking Factory Manager with solid food manufacturing experience. Working across all areas of the factory, supporting the team to ensure they strive to the highest of standards at all times, providing inspirational leadership and direction to ensure that people are kept safe, engaged, focused and always delivering to their potential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Factor Manager:

Lead the team to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, food safety, and quality requirements :

Foster a "safety first" culture and drive performance improvement.

Ensure machinery and equipment compliance and proper operator training.

Conduct regular refresher training and maintain personnel records.

Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.

Address performance issues and report on performance.

Identify and prioritize improvement projects.

Develop leadership skills and succession plans.

Promote a positive culture and address performance issues.

Skills and experience sought:

Essential - minimum 3 years Food Manufacturing/ FMCG background

IOSH

Level 3 food safety is preferable.

Focused on continuous improvement, efficiencies, and LEAN processes

Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate and drive change from within

Closing date is 25 th of August 2023
