As the Assistant Health Club Spa Manager for the hotel, you will support the Manager with developing all aspects of the spa health club business. Providing a clear vision on the direction for the business area, ensuring the quality of service is provided to customers. Depending on the hotel, your area of responsibility will include one or more of the following:- swimming pools, sauna, steam room, locker rooms, gym, class studios, racket sports, spas, health club spa reception, relaxation rooms, food beverage outlet and plantrooms.
What will I do?
- Covering for the Manager in their absence where you will work with the General Manager, you will develop, maintain administer a business plan for the spa health club including budgets and marketing.
- Identifying opportunities to maximise the use of the spa leisure facilities
- Provide ongoing support training to your team
- Ensure staff are fully qualified for certain areas of the business area
- Care and maintenance of the facilities to ensure an exceptional high standard of presentation cleanliness
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with head of departments, senior management and the wider business
- Health safety is always being followed adhered to
Is this the role for me?
- Previous experience in a spa or leisure / health club capacity within a hotel environment would be distinct advantage
- Must have experience within a spa or leisure environment
- Relevant qualifications
- Strong people management
- Passionate about providing an outstanding service to customers
- KPI and target driven
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to think outside the box and have ideas on how to maximise opportunities
