We now have a great for a Facilities Assistant to join our facilities department. This role will play a key part within the team, helping us develop and maintain our working environment on site at our Castle Donington Distribution Centre.
What you'll be involved in: -
- Acting as the first point of contact for managers to raise any concerns in relation to facilities standards. Addressing these where relevant or communicating with relevant business partners and or the relevant contractors
- Logging site mechanical, plumbing and electrical issues and tracking and provide estimated time of completion on logged jobs
- Completing administrative based tasks such as uploading audit results and producing site communications
- Conduct minor repairs internally and externally as well as conducting interior and exterior redecoration as and when needed
- Remove and or dispose of any items that are no longer required liaising with the facilities Coordinator
- Auditing of office & meeting rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs/replacement/renovations
- Replenishment of warehouse consumables
We are looking for someone who enjoys painting, decorating and overall facility/general maintenance. They will also need to have experience using basic hand and power tools and the passion/motivation to do a great job. In addition, they will need: -
- To have excellent written & verbal communication skills
- to be a great communicator who is highly organised with an eye for detail
