Facilities Manager
Position Summary: Kalman Manufacturing is a Precision CNC machine shop looking for a facilities manager to be the leader of our facilities and service efforts. As a member of the operations team, the facilities manager will develop the necessary functionality within the facilities and service department to review, determine the feasibility of, and meet the business requirements for both the manufacturing plant and service of its capital equipment. To do so, the facilities manager will allocate, review the performance of, and develop resources, both human and material. Additionally, they will measure the performance of the various facilities and service processes and develop models and methods that will be used to achieve improved performance against those measures, as well as any of the company’s strategic goals. They will additionally provide feedback to the other functional managers, as well as be the interface for safety and hazardous waste management. As the leader of the facility and service department, the facilities manager has a significant influence on Kalman Manufacturing’s business and performance in this role is highly visible. Strong performance will be highly valued and may lead to increased levels of responsibility and corresponding career advancement.
Structure: This position reports to the Director of Operations. Service technicians and industrial custodians report to the Facilities Manager

Minimum Requirements:
· 10+ years of facilities management experience
· 5+ years of capital equipment installation, maintenance, and repair experience
· 2+ years of supervisory experience in either of the above roles
· Demonstrated knowledge in reading blueprints and schematics appropriate for the role
· Demonstrated expertise in methodologies for service and facilities metrics and their application to the business
· Appropriate computer proficiency to support production data analysis, continuous improvement, and presentations thereof
· Must have good manual dexterity and able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Requirements:
· 5+ years of CNC machining equipment installation, maintenance, and repair experience
· Demonstrated complex project management capability
· Experience in developing a service organization
