Key Responsibilities:
As our Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will:
Oversee the Facilities, Maintenance, Internal Logistics, and H&S teams, ensuring safe and efficient operations across all functions.
Implement effective scheduled, preventative, and predictive maintenance strategies for our building systems and production equipment.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, F Gas, waste compliance, fire systems, Legionella, and more.
Manage the CMMS system, work allocation, and internal service levels, while ensuring timely response to machinery breakdowns.
Collaborate on facilities and machinery improvement projects, and maintain accurate records of waste streams, recycling initiatives, and cost reductions.
Promote a Safety First and Zero Accident culture, working closely with the H&S Manager to define KPIs, oversee audits, and ensure risk assessments are up-to-date.
Facilities Maintenance Manager - Health and Safety:
Line manage and collaborate with the H&S Manager, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and fostering a safety-first mindset.
Oversee accident investigation processes, forklift operation, and driver training standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Facilities Maintenance Manager - Internal Logistics:
Line manage the Internal Logistics Team Leader, and develop long-term strategies for the growth of the team.
Support lean manufacturing transformation projects, introducing JIT stock replenishment, waste removal, and internal component supermarkets.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
The ideal Facilities Maintenance Manager candidate will have:
Senior leadership experience in operations, facilities, and/or maintenance in heavy and light manufacturing environments.
Degree-level education or equivalent, with strong critical thinking and people leadership skills.
Extensive project and change management experience, with a systematic and structured approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, health and safety legislation, and mechanical and building M&E systems.

Salary: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
