Job description
In our newly created property structure, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate to manage and lead the operational delivery of FM Services across the Council’s properties. Whilst ensuring health and safety is a priority, this role will deliver an efficient and effective service which meets customer expectations and organisational requirements.
Leading on the provision of effective site management, developing ambitious KPIs and implementing continuous improvement will all be regular features of the role.
This role will be an Energy Champion, always looking to use environmentally advantageous products. They will also be the primary on-call representative for out of hours emergencies.

The Person
With an industry recognised qualification in Health and Safety or Facilities Management, you will have previous experience of leading a multidisciplinary FM team in a corporate environment across various sites. You will have demonstrable experience of effective engagement with stakeholders using your excellent communication and negotiation skills.
We are looking for a well organised candidate who is able to problem solve effectively. An understanding of financial and budget management will be essential to ensure the Council receive excellent value for money.
