Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. The Studio is home to 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, a heated underwater filming tank and an extensive Studio backlot complete with exterior tank. Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden can accommodate productions of any scale including large blockbuster films and high-end TV dramas.
Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for production companies. The Studio also has its own, on-site Set Lighting & Rigging rental division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoot. Warner Bros. Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, based in Soho, London, provides award-winning picture and sound post-production for feature films and high-end television.
These facilities make Warner Bros. the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post-production facility in the UK.
Your New Role:
You will provide support to the facilities team in repairs and maintenance across the studios, alongside this you will attend college to complete an industry recognised training course. As an entry-level Property Maintenance Operative you will be working with a strong support network giving you the chance to build your knowledge and develop your skills, this will include working with our mechanical, electrical, and fabric contractors and regular meetings with your college.
The role will primarily be based at the Leavesden site but from time to time you may be required to work off site.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Over the course of your apprenticeship, you will build your skills and knowledge to be able to successfully:
Assist with all plumbing duties, including repairs, maintenance, and other associated works as instructed by the line manager(s)
Assist with electrical duties, including repairs, maintenance, and other associated works as instructed by the line manager(s)
Follow safe systems of work learning and apply Health and Safety in a commercial work environment
Upskill your own painting and tiling techniques
Gain an understanding of Heating ventilation and air condition plant
Gain an understanding of external building fabric maintenance
Qualifications & Experience:
Skills/Knowledge:
Interest property maintenance industry
Good organisation and prioritisation skills

Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to requests, using own initiative and be prepared to ask for help and advice when necessary
Ability to work closely and well with other team members

Commitment to gaining apprenticeship qualification through attending college when required and completing related work

Working Hours:
You will be required to work five days per week with one day of these days given over to study at college. You may be required to undertake work during evenings and weekends in line with the requirements of the business.

Salary: £19,700 p/a
Contract Length: 18 months
