Our busy facilities team deliver facilities services across our 13 offices in and around Coventry, Birmingham, Hereford and Worcester.
As Facilities Assistant, you will deliver facilities services across our offices ensuring we provide safe, comfortable and suitable office spaces for our staff to work in.
We have some exciting refurbishment projects coming up which you will be involved in assisting with. This will be a varied role where no day is the same and the opportunity to build upon the fantastic facilities management skills you already hold.
In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Facilities Assistant will involve:
- Continued monitoring of statutory compliance
- Travelling between our 13 office spaces
- Assisting in the management and running of both the Hard and Soft Services for our office spaces, including the management of contractors
- Reporting building issues and faults
- Completing Risk Assessments
- Being a positive Facilities presence to our staff
- Carrying out building checks
- Assisting with the Business Continuity Management Plan
- Ensuring our offices are clean, tidy and fully stocked with essentials
As Facilities Assistant, we need you to have:
- Ability to travel to all our office locations across the Midlands
- IOSH Managing Safely training
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at work legislation related to office operations, including COSHH
- NEBOSH National General Certificate ideally
- Understanding of Business Continuity Plans and the importance to the business ideally
