You will work closely with our Facilities Manager to provide an efficient administrative support service for Facilities, Safety and Laboratory Management functions. The role holder will oversee the Department Canteen in conjunction with the Facilities Manager and will also provide cover and support to the department administrative team as necessary. There will be competing demands and deadlines to meet, as well as maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Ideally you will have some relevant administrative experience and knowledge of the principles and processes of administration, including using software packages and databases. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload. However, you will work within our friendly team, so will have a support network to help you along the way.
