I am looking to recruit a full time welder/fabricator.
Use of various machinery i.e. steel worker, rollers, pillar drill, cut off saws, benders.
Use of handheld tools, grinders, drills, breakers etc.
Carry out welding tasks including MIG/TIG/ARC.
Marking out and measuring sections for cutting, shaping & drilling, preparation of drawings.
Setting up job, ensuring measurements correct before manufacture.
Working with steel 2mm – 30mm
Installation of jobs once complete. Assisting with steel deliveries, quality inspection of own work during process.
The Person
Preferably NVQ Apprenticeship. Focused on Quality, able to produce work to a high standard.
Working independently or within a team. Be consistent, accurate. Needs to be fit as some heavy work involved.
Hours of Work
Mon – Thu 07:30 – 16:30
Fri 07:30 – 15:00
Overtime available
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
