Job description
The Ideal candidate will be able and expected to do the following:
Cut upholstery pieces at speed and to a high standard Cut samples by hand as required Be aware of and report fabric faults Organise cut work and components for the sewing team Keep the cutting area organised Support the business with organisational work in your free time Develop good teamwork with your cutting partner Contribute to the overall running of the production line to ensure deadlines are met Skills required: Has 1 year training as a cutter in a factory setting- desirable but not essential. Training can and will be provided for the ideal candidate. Has previous experience working with Industrial cutting knives, preferably a straight knife. A hard worker and has a great attitude who wants to learn and improve their cutting and production skills Is extremely organised and has excellent communication skills - confident to speak up when they see a production problem. 5 A-C GCSE’s or equivalent. NVQ or A levels desirable but not essential.

Salary: £26,000.00 per year
