As an Export Control Officer you will be responsible for handling sensitive materials, maintaining compliance and making sure the materials in question adhere to export control regulations when forwarding to customers
The role holder will:
After training, be an expert in applying a depth of subject matter expertise in an area of Export control, including application or development of policy and procedure or resolution of problems and issues in complex, sensitive/difficult, high risk/impact situations- Have some experience of ITAR, EAR, UK/EU and international export controls
- This is a hybrid role with a mixture of home and office working (flexible office location in either London, Guildford, Leeds,Manchester or Gloucester)
Your skills and qualifications:
An interest in Compliance/ Legal matters/ Technology- A basic knowledge of Export Control laws, regulations, and expertise in their application to business activities.
- Understand the business strategies and priorities and deliver solutions that best meet them
- A proactive approach to solving problems, working with the wider team to develop solutions.
