Expert Witness: Medico-Legal Remote
Job description
GMS and Associates are looking for experienced Healthcare Professionals to act as Expert Witnesses in clinical negligence, personal injury litigation and other areas such as professional regulation.
We are looking for specialists with 10 years or more experience in their clinical field, currently in clinical practice or who have uptodate clinical knowledge. You will undertake this work on a private/self-employed basis.
We are currently seeking experienced practitioners in the following clinical fields:
Tissue Viability
Diabetes
Midwifery
Oncology
District Nursing
Care and Nursing Home
Brain Injury Birth Specialist
Your role as an Expert Witness
You will use your valuable knowledge and expertise to provide your professional opinion on legal matters.
This can include:
✔Reviewing documentation
✔Reporting on breaches of duty/causation/condition & prognosis
✔Attending case conferences with lawyers
✔Responding to queries
✔Writing statements
✔Undertaking injury assessments
✔Giving evidence in court
