Manufacturing Logistics is a dynamic and expanding business unit within the DHL UK & Ireland Supply Chain , with 8,500 colleagues, located across 37 sites, providing logistics support to a diverse portfolio of OEMs and tier suppliers..

The BI team provide a consultancy approach to deliver a wide range of reporting and analysis products utilising Microsoft Power Platform, principally Power BI & Power Automate.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to expand and develop our approach to Power BI and its integration within our ML estate.

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, also evaluate and improve existing BI systems and Translate business needs to technical specifications and business logic into data analytics
  • Ensure thorough documentation and change control processes are in place, accessible and maintained for all department processes and developments.
  • Support data model creation, testing, documentation, and scheduled refreshes of data flows based upon customer requirements.
  • Specify and develop solutions that will automate, schedule, and improve upon current processes within the Analytics team.
  • Evaluate opportunities to generate added value | efficiencies to existing process - Internally or with customers.
  • Provide technical input and effective data analysis to projects to support the achievement of deliverables to time and budget.
  • Actively participate in our culture of continuous development and innovation by contributing ideas for new feature and functionality

  • Sound understanding of business Intelligence best practices, relational structures, data warehouse and reporting techniques
  • Extensive MS Excel experience and strong data affinity.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team with BI report development and business analyst resources, and clearly communicate
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong communicative skills in both Internal & external customer relationships, supported by a 'can-do' attitude.
