An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Inpatient Physiotherapy team at East Surrey Hospital as a Physiotherapy Assistant.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual to work in this full time role within our inpatient Physiotherapy teams on our inpatient wards.
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work efficiently and responsibly as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
This post involves clinical work, assisting Physiotherapists on the wards in the rehabilitation and management of patients along with issuing walking aids, non-clinical housekeeping duties and stock management. Our Physiotherapy Assistants rotate every six months between the different ward areas:
- Acute medical, (elderly or medical)
- Orthopaedics,
- Respiratory,
- Neurology.
