The Post:
This post presents an opportunity to join a unique team in Scotland’s healthcare system. The Executive Support Team provide a key role in supporting the work of NHS Scotland leadership groups including Chairs, Chief Executives, Medical Directors, Nurse Directors, HR Directors and Directors of Planning. The Executive Support Team work with the leads across these groups to drive forward the agenda, priorities and areas of focus.
The Candidate:
We are looking for someone to join us in providing the full range of executive and senior management administration, coordination and secretarial/secretariat support, at a high standard, for the senior leaders of the NHS in Scotland.

The main elements of the role are:
- To provide executive office functions and support to the Programme Director, overseeing the work of the NHS Scotland Executive Support Team
- To support the coordination and contribute to the drafting of a range of materials (reports, updates and communications) to support group and sub-group actions.
Location
The role has a permanent location based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, but flexible working will allow the post holder to operate from a remote location on a regular basis. The post holder must be prepared to attend the fixed location at the request of the organisation when deemed essential.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
Working Pattern:
Monday – Friday. Hours per day - Flexible
