Job description

Unite Students have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Content Executive to join our highly regarded Marketing team on a 1 year fixed-term contract.

In this role you`ll support our Digital Content Manager through creating, curating and managing product content for our website which can be repurposed for our app, marketing activation, social media and other digital channels. You`ll have a proactive approach to ensuring that strong product content is produced for the US digital estate for each of our properties.

What you`ll be doing

  • Creating, curating and managing product content for website which can be repurposed for our app, for marketing activation, social media and other digital channels.
  • Ensuring content is published in a visually attractive manner with an eye for design so that the end result is easy to read and the customer journey is clear.
  • Take the lead on digital content creation when required.
  • Creating copy which is aligned to our tone of voice, shares our hierarchy of messages and has a clear Call To Action
  • Supporting the Digital Content Manger to `step change` the digital content of our properties across the estate.
  • Helping the DCM in relation to the above, look at all digital content and review the success metrics. Inc. Photography, 360s, Animations, VR, Videos, Vlogs CGIs, time lapse etc.
  • Work in conjunction with our marketing agencies to update our content and create new world class content.

What we`re looking for in you

  • Creative thinking and problem solving with proven experience in digital content creation
  • Experience in working with content management systems and working with digital agencies
  • Must have an approachable and engaging attitude with the experience and capability to communicate at all levels; with the ability to apply appropriate persuasion and achieve solution driven results.
  • Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail whilst being aware of the substance of our digital estate
  • Focused individual who is commercially astute, while being creative and driving innovation through an in-depth knowledge and experience of the digital technology and marketing landscape`s best practice, trends and developments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and able to interpret information from different sources and turn it into copy relevant for each channel
  • A flexible approach to their work and a proactive attitude to activating the US marketing strategy with an ability to multi-task whilst retaining a high level of accuracy
  • Experience in delivering creative, efficient and forward thinking digital content which is award winning and surpass the benchmarks set by our competitors
