Utah License 8632154-6301 & P103485 1681447 & 1764108 Job Description Attention Applicants - For this job, we are especially seeking people from Grand Junction, Fruita, or Loma, Colorado in addition to Green River or Thompson Springs, Utah. This is a full-time, long-term position with good pay and allowances. You will be compensated for driving time and mileage. The shifts are long, but you'll make full-time hours in just three (3) days per week. Training will be provided at no cost to you. As part of a critical infrastructure security plan, the Petroleum Facility Watchstander is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of petroleum facilities during their shift. This role requires vigilance, a keen sense of awareness, and the ability to promptly report potential security and safety threats, especially those unique to petroleum operations. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure security and safety. Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and other safety equipment. Report any suspicious activities, trespassers, or potential threats to the facility security manager or local authorities as required. Document any incidents, disruptions, or breaches in security and safety. Ensure all entry and exit points are secured. Respond to alarms promptly and investigate disturbances. Collaborate with other facility personnel to ensure a coordinated safety approach. Adhere to safety protocols related to operations. Assist in emergency evacuations or other emergency protocols. Stay updated on safety guidelines and operating procedures. Qualifications You must live within a 1-hour drive of Cisco, Utah. Minimum age - 25 years old. Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a security or safety role. Knowledge of basic security, surveillance, and safety procedures. Strong situational awareness and observation skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. Effective communication skills for reporting and documentation. No felony convictions nor crimes involving moral turpitude. Additional Information Working Conditions: Requires working in a remote industrial environment, alone at night, for long shifts up to 14 hours. You can't work more than 45 hours per week. May be exposed to varying weather conditions during outdoor patrols. Must adhere to strict safety guidelines to prevent accidents or incidents. It's generally an easy drive on Interstate 70 of 30 minutes or less to reach the job site. Pay and Allowances: $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your shift pay, you'll be paid for travel and receive a mileage allowance of $50 per shift.
