ABOUT US
Transforming Lives Through Excellent Education
London Met is an extraordinary institution. Equity and social inclusion have
always been our driving principles, and it's what makes the University so
unique. Our organisation is distinctive, both in its eclectic and diverse
community of students and staff, and also for its historical role in serving
some of London's most deprived boroughs. Everything we do is
underpinned by our philosophy that an individual should have the
opportunity to transform their life through the power of education.
Equipping our students with the tools for their future is at the heart of our
academic offering. We pride ourselves on providing our students with
access to a wealth of opportunities and professions. Our graduates benefit
personally, but also contribute their unique perspectives to society, culture,
public service and the economy in all areas of London, the UK and around
the world.
ABOUT THE POST
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Officer in the
Vice-Chancellor's Office. Working as part of a dynamic and proactive
team, in this fast paced and varied role, you will provide a high level
of executive support to members of the University's Senior Leadership
Team and the Governance function in the University.
You will provide a professional executive support service including
active diary management, organisation and administration of meetings and

You will act as clerk to agreed strategic working groups or groups
within the University's Executive arrangements, including drafting

providing executive support to the Senior Leadership Team.
To be successful, you will have substantial experience of providing high
level executive assistance to senior staff, including Executive and
Non-Executive Directors. You will also have experience of working within
a complex environment and engaging with multiple stakeholders. We are
particularly keen to receive applications from anyone with extensive
experience of meeting or committee servicing, as this will be a key
priority for the role. The ideal candidate will also have working
knowledge of T4 or similar web-editing platforms, although this is not
essential and training will be provided.
Interviews due to be held in week commencing 3 July 2023.
