About the role and our team
As the Executive Director of the OHR, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic development and direction of human resources initiatives across all Government departments.
You will be responsible for providing innovative, efficient, and comprehensive HR solutions that support the IOM Government's values and goals, working across the Public Service to support with HR matters and help Departments deliver on their objectives laid out in the Island Plan.
You will be able to forge and maintain strategic partnerships and champion our values, placing the customer at the heart of our HR services and inspiring your team to continually learn, adapt and make improvements to all areas of their work. Using your knowledge and experience, you will be a vital adviser on HR matters across the Isle of Man Public Service at the most senior level.
This role also brings the exceptional opportunity to shape the future for the Office of Human Resources. Using a collective and future-focused approach, you will review, develop and implement our People Strategy, ensuring delivery of agreed actions and managing the performance of the HR function through key performance indicators.
