The role will focus on effecting continuous improvements to our operational delivery, leading and pro-actively supporting our staff, delivering on the charity’s strategic ambitions, making sure that the strategy is embedded culturally, building on our successes, and ensuring that the charity fulfils its statutory and contractual responsibilities and delivers effective outcomes for our Members and corporate partners.
About us
The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) is the leading representative charity for dog and cat rescue and rehoming organisations across 8 jurisdictions in the British Isles. Operating across England, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, the ADCH promotes best practice in animal welfare for dogs and cats.
The ADCH has a superb ethos of people and charities working together to help one another for the benefit of dogs and cats. Membership has been growing rapidly and we now have over 160 Member organisations. Members encompass charities of all sizes, from the smallest to the largest, plus some Individual members, so the number of people involved measures many thousands.
