Our Executive Chef’s are the driving force behind our creative, and highly nutritious menus. Passionate about working with fresh ingredients, and holding strong knowledge of food and best practice within kitchens, in this role you will be bringing our offering to life whilst supporting our team of Chefs to deliver an amazing experience to all staff and students.
This is a ‘hands-on’ position and therefore a passion for working with fresh food and highly nutritious menus is a must! Key leadership skill, an ability to develop people and strong cooking and food preparation skill is the ideal mix for this position.
Main Responsibilities
Working to achieve maximum nutrition in each meal while exciting the taste buds of everyone
Offering guidance to our on-site team and leading by example to deliver an outstanding experience for all diners
Keep a safe environment by adhering to all H&S, Food Safety and Hygiene policies, ensuring they are relevant at all times
Using creativity to devise new menus and products, taking note of dietary requirements
Acting as a ‘brand ambassador’ and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers and providers
You’ll currently work in a development or senior culinary role and can demonstrate creativity and flair in the food you produce. With strong industry acumen, you keep up to date with industry trends, developments and innovations.
Strong, hands-on experience working with fresh food within busy environments – experience within education centres would be a bonus!
Training will be provided but a Level 3 Food Safety certificate is preferred
A proactive and creative mind that can devise innovative menus and find systematic ways of working to promote an organised workplace, even in high pressure moments
Exemplary understanding of kitchen procedures and compliance such as H&S, Food Safety and Hygiene
Knowledge of training people and supporting their development.
Management skills - You will be managing a team of 7-8 employees.

Highly competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per year - Based on experience.
Location - Stanley, Liverpool.
