Job description
We are currently looking for an Executive Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our busy, trendy urban bar. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for overseeing bar sales and managing the bar staff during shift hours.
The Role:
- The ability to work alongside the food and beverage manager.
- Providing guests with an outstanding experience
- Maintain the reputation of the venue among the wide customer's base.
- Manage the retail beverage operations in line with the retail strategy.
- Ensure all bars are set up according to the agrees SOPs and delivered operationally.
- Work with the owner to oversee the setup, equipment and general logistics.
- Train and develop new staff
- Ensure safe working practices are maintained.
- Ensure all units are compliant with Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation and that appropriate records are completed and retained for audit purposes.
- Booking of live acts and events.
The Successful Candidate:
- Knowledge of Cellar Management
- Experiences of working with an EPOS system
- Experience of working with third party suppliers is desirable.
- H&S Food Hygiene Qualification Level 2 is desirable.
- Knowledge of Fine Wines, Champagne, Spirits & cocktails
- Ability to forecast new trends
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
