We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced and committed Executive Assistant to the Director to join our Childrens Services. We are looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate about improving the lives of children, young people and their families at this critical time, here in Solihull.
As a Executive Assistant you will support the Director of Children’s Services in the first instance, with Management, project, and personal assistant support to Directors and members of the Corporate Leadership Team.
You will be responsible for the management of a professional, effective, and efficient secretariat service for the Childrens Services & Skills Directorate Leadership Team. You will have experience of working as an Executive Assistant (or similar) and have supported senior level colleagues. You will be extremely well-organised, be one step ahead, flexible and have the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks.
You will also need to demonstrate:
- Experience of liaising and dealing with senior stakeholders
- GCSE A-C English Language or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 Business Admin or equivalent or significant relevant administrative training or experience
- Meticulous attention to detail.
You must be comfortable with hybrid working practices as these are now in place across the business, with a combination of home working, virtual meetings and attendance at the Council’s offices.
