ABOUT THE ROLE
Purpose is seeking an Executive Assistant who will work closely with both the CEO and the Managing Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with two of Purpose's senior leaders delivering impact across the world. In this role, you'll be positioned to support and advance the effectiveness of two impact-oriented leaders in the heart of our work across philanthropies, non-profits, and values-aligned corporations. You'll provide daily administrative support, be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, and lean into special projects including internal cultural initiatives, external events, and client engagement and correspondence.
This role holds a number of key responsibilities, including leading all aspects of scheduling, meeting preparation, event and travel coordination, and proactive communication with external contacts and internal team members alike.

This full time staff position is based in Purpose's London office in Shoreditch. We're expecting the person in this role to be able to work in-person from the office about 3 days a week. This is a Fixed- term 1 year role with a highly possibility conversion to Permanent. This role is offered at the Associate Manager tier with a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000, commensurate with experience, plus generous time off policy and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, efficient administrative support to the CEO and MD
- Maintain regular daily communication with the CEO and MD, ensuring close adherence to rapidly changing calendars
- Manage the CEO and MD's calendars, including heavy scheduling across multiple timezones, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Screen and prioritise the CEO's incoming internal and external inquiries
- Liaise with our Partnerships team to ensure external meetings are effectively staffed and the CEO and MD are fully prepared
- Collaborating with Ops Manager and People & Experience team in onboarding of new senior team members
- Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, including catering needs, briefing the CEO and MD, material and room preparations
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Prepare and update contact lists and relevant information on contacts
- Work with the Purpose team to ensure appropriate briefs, notes, and clear follow-up from meetings
- Track CEO and MD's expenses and submit monthly expense reports
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous experience as an executive or personal assistant to a senior staff member or equivalent relevant experience
- A keen eye for detail and meticulous organisation skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs
- Responds well to new challenges and able to adapt priorities accordingly
- Remains calm and focused in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive company information and high level of integrity
- Comfortable working with all levels of clients, visitors and employees, including senior executives
- Experience with Google Suite, including Gmail and Google Calendar
- Proficient with Mac systems and software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
