Job Description:

This role will provide confidential and professional assistance to the Managing Director (MD); supporting him in the administrative running of the business, delivery of the business plan, managing the governance meetings and accurate and timely reporting to the board and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility of diary management and day planning for the Managing Director
  • Management of the Managing Directors emails, processing on own initiative, identifying priorities and supporting the MD in efficiently managing workloads
  • Complete administration duties for the MD including budget, invoicing and expense management
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the MD
  • Be an ongoing support to the MD
  • Arrange executive and governance meetings and liaise with Group PA’s to manage actions and diaries
  • Manage MD/executive actions logs to get timely outcomes and actions completed
  • Collate and prepare information for board/shareholder packs, complete minute taking and follow up assigned actions as required
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for exec, board, and external meetings
  • Preparation of monthly and bi-monthly newsletters
  • General typing of correspondence, letters, and reports
  • Arrange Long Service awards and lunches
  • Arrange and support in managing off-site company strategy days

  • Strong PowerPoint skills, ability to support the creation of strategic plans

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working as a PA/EA for a senior executive
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Strong minute-taking skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
