Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Culture & Leadership Director and their leadership team, you will collaborate to ensure the Director and team are best placed to deliver on the team’s strategic and operational objectives.

- Using sound judgement and through effective working relationships, you’ll make decisions on behalf of the Culture & Leadership director where appropriate.
- Serve as nominated deputy on select governance forums.
- Identify and lead on opportunities/initiatives to create a positive, engaging team environment and culture.
- Through your deep understanding of the Director and team’s priorities, you’ll screen, digest and interpret information and communications, responding, rerouting, and prioritising as appropriate.
- You’ll have the opportunity to undertake research and manage key programmes, contributing to a wide range of the Culture & Leadership team’s priorities.
- Ensuring that the Culture & Leadership Director is prepared for all forums, committees and events, you’ll proactively analyse, review and prepare reports and papers.
- You’ll have a risk mindset, taking the initiative to investigate and manage emerging issues and risks as they arise.
- You will manage an annual calendar of events/forums/meetings that will engage the team in a productive manner, including the performance and reward cycles.
- You’ll work closely with the Director’s PA and other EAs across the function to ensure the People and Places leadership using their time as efficiently as possible.

You’ll create a culture of ongoing constructive dialogue and have a compelling impact on people at all levels, gaining widespread buy-in, mobilisation and commitment to the overall People and Places agenda.
