What’s in it for you?
This role is a fast-paced role supporting the Managing Director of Octopus Real Estate, and two Senior Leaders. The role will involve extensive diary management and meeting arrangements as well as being the go-to person for the Managing Director. Your role will underpin the smooth-running of a busy team which works with all parts of the wider Octopus group. You'll be working in a deadline-driven environment and will need to be well organised and able to juggle and prioritise your workload.
The team:
Octopus Real Estate, part of the Octopus Group is a leading specialist real estate investor, with a team of circa 90 professionals. We provide award-winning finance for UK property investment and development.
What will you be doing?
- Diary and email management: arranging and coordinating internal and external meetings often requiring proactive resolution of diary clashes. Monitoring and managing Outlook Inboxes, including prioritising between urgent issues and responding where necessary to facilitate the working patterns of the senior team.
- Creating high quality PowerPoint presentations, operating with multiple contributors providing a range of input.
- Supporting the Senior Leaders in the seamless delivery and execution of their objectives by taking the initiative to solve challenges and proactively making offers of help, tracking key tasks arising from meetings, taking minutes, chasing up minutes and action points.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Strong MS Office PowerPoint and Excel skills. This includes formatting slides to be consistent with Octopus’ brand standards and creating financial charts in Excel.
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant to Senior Leaders/C-Suite and the discretion required to support confidential projects and reports.
- The ability to solve problems, juggle several tasks at once and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced team.
- The ability to work collaboratively and develop relationships with multiple stakeholders, communicating progress and working with shifting deadlines.
