Executive Assistant – GCS – London

A bit about the job:
An EA provides effective and efficient high-level executive support to Directors including the prioritisation of work, diary management, meetings management and communication, document production, quality assurance and governance. With some lower-level support provided to the Directors immediate teams. As an EA you will be seen as the point of contact for the GCS team and you will deal with queries and provide counsel, connect people, and give direction and advice. You will be required to highlight when upcoming cyclical and management deadlines for reports, reviews, budgets, and chase teams to ensure these deadlines are met. In addition to this the successful candidate will also collate draft documents, briefing papers, and presentations for their director when required, pulling on the wider team where appropriate for support as well as organise meetings and help Directors to be well prepared for those meetings. Alongside also preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers. You may also be required to support with booking travel and accommodation using corporate systems.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
High degree of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.
Experience of meeting / speaking with customers, internal and external
Strong networking skills - Strong planning, prioritisation, re-prioritisation, time management and organisation.
High standard of accuracy and ability to meet constant and (sometimes) tight deadlines.
Relevant secretarial training with equivalent experience supporting senior roles.
