Executive Assistant

Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £33,013 to £35,585 per annum. Plus generous benefits, including:
- 43 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

About the role
You will be responsible for providing an Executive PA service to the Chief Executive and Principal as well as being responsible for the effective and efficient management of the College Support Team (CST).
You will ensure that the College’s core administration support services are efficient and effective and support the College’s annual business cycle. You will also act as the core secretariat for meetings of the Strategic Leadership Team, ensuring that agendas, papers and records of meetings are produced, shared and stored effectively.
You will also ensure that matters which require onward transmission to the Board of Governors through the Governance structures are shared with the Director of Governance.
You will cultivate a close working relationship with the Chief Executive and Principal, and by ‘managing up’ anticipate and prioritise their key tasks.
Hybrid Working
Many of our Professional Services staff undertake hybrid working – working from home for part of the week. You may work on a hybrid working basis at times when it is appropriate to do so; we will be happy to discuss this with you.
About the Person
You will be able to work independently in a busy environment that will involve prioritisation of tasks, decision making and planning. This is a varied role and, as such, you will have excellent administration, communication, and organisational skills. The ability to work flexibly, plan and prioritise a diverse workload, support colleagues, and work independently is crucial.
You will have experience of managing a small team to provide a comprehensive and professional administrative/secretarial service which meets the needs of stakeholders, and possess a first line management qualification or 3 years relevant experience.
